Sometimes you must be having problems with lag, no kills in your own server. You keep on thinking to fix it but not succeed. Here is the solution.
No kill After many shoots :
Sometimes in your non-dedicated or dedicated servers, it happens that you continuously shoot and blood drains out from the enemy but no health is drained out and enemy not dies. This happens because of the flying mods used be server owner. When you start your server, all the joiners and you play with the settings of yours(server owner). You have seen that when you use flying mods, you not die when you fall from a height, it effects your health, if you use flying mods then you have unlimited health in your own server, so all joiners play with that unlimited health as you are server owner. So no no-one dies. To fix the problem don't use flying mods in your own server, use other mods or don't use mods.
Excess Lag after high Internet Speeds :
Sometimes when you run your server with high internet speed connections, but you still have lags. You know how it happens, it happens by mods, here is the solution. When you run your server, all join but some are modders and some are not modders. So this effects, the settings of modders and non-modders PC not match so the PC of both takes time to accept it and this accepting time increase the pings to very high. To fix the problem, don't let anyone use mods on your server or just allow modders to play o your server. This lets accepting fast.
The Networkconfig.cfg Instructions :
The file 'networkconfig' is by the way very important file in
'pc' folder of IGI-2 Installation folder. It contains all the information needed to be executed during running own server.

Port Forwarding
It is important to forward your ports in order to make your server visible
INSTRUCTIONS :-
(In windows xp go to run and type cmd) or (In windows 7 go to start up and in search programs type cmd) and hit enter command prompt will appear - Now in cmd type ipconfig and hit enter there you will see your ip address and default Gateway etc.
- Now open your browser and type your default Gateway in the address bar and hit enter.
- When you type your default Gateway in your browser it will ask for username and password type admin for both if u didn't put password manually.
- Now every router have different settings so find NAT and open it.
- In NAT there you will find virtual server or server etc so click on virtual server or server.
- In virtual server there you will see start port number and end port number.
- So in start port number type 26001 and in end port number type 26015 and select your protocol UDP.
- There you will also see local ip address or ip address so type your ip address there if you don't know your ip address follow step 2 above.
- Write your application name IGI 2 Covert Strike if it asks for it.
- Now save or submit.
- Its done you have opened your ports.

HOW TO TURN ON/OFF FIREWALL
IT IS IMPORTANT TO TURN OFF YOU FIREWALL BECAUSE IF YOUR FIREWALL IS NOT TURN OFF YOUR SERVER WILL NOT BE RESPOND.
How To Turn Off Windows Firewall In windows 7 : -
In window 7 go to the start menu and open control panel.
- Now In control panel open windows firewall.
- When it is opened now turn off the windows firewall there.
- No further steps needed you have turned off your windows firewall.
How To Turn Off Windows Firewall In windows XP : -
In windows XP go to my computer and open control panel.

- When it is opened now turn off windows firewall there.

Step no 2:
Open the firewall and add some IP addresses from start to end to block their internal Crashing and Hacking attacks for UDP.
Step no 3:
Download IPT from Downloads and install it to make your Real computer IP and MAC from Hackers and from their Internal hacking Attacks.
Step no 4:
Add the Following IP Addresses in Input TCP/UDP Block. Output TCP Block.Only allow for Output UDP Allow in Fake Mode. Your Server will be only visible for then to play. your server will show the Fake and secure International IP Address for all over the world.
Step no 5:
Allow some Following Common IP Addresses for only Output UDP. So they will Play on your Server as Blocked Map Mods.
Step no 6:
If your Fire wall asked you automatically that igi2.exe is trying to Receive a connection from another IP/ICMP/MAC/Computer or any thing On the internet. You just Block it for lifetime so the input UDP/TCP request is Blocked for lifetime. Your server is Safe.
Step no 7:
Follow these steps for lifetime and Remember it to follow while Launching a Server. And enjoy your Game.
